Enclosed gearboxes
Common ISO viscosity grades for plant gear drives, selected against the maker’s recommendation.
Gear oil supplier · Bengaluru
Request industrial and automotive gear oils for gearboxes, axles, transmissions and heavy machinery in Bengaluru—matched to viscosity, load and equipment specification.

Selection essentials
A gear oil must maintain the right film under the actual load and operating temperature. Match the OEM requirement before changing viscosity or product type.
Share gearbox detailsCommon ISO viscosity grades for plant gear drives, selected against the maker’s recommendation.
Automotive gear oils such as 80W-90 where the vehicle specification calls for them.
Extreme-pressure chemistry for applications with heavy tooth loading and sliding contact.
Viscosity selection should account for start-up temperature, working heat and gear speed.
Fast selection path
A reliable enquiry connects the oil specification to the actual gear set, speed and working load.
Share gearbox make, model, gear type or vehicle axle details.
Send the manual reference, nameplate or old container photo.
Note load, speed, operating heat, shock and water exposure.
Tell us top-up, oil change, sump capacity and repeat frequency.
Common applications
Common enquiry language
Use this as a conversation guide only. Gear geometry, speed, load and the maker’s specification decide the suitable oil.
Often discussed for faster or more lightly loaded enclosed gear drives.
A frequent enquiry for enclosed gearboxes; application details still matter.
Often considered for slower, heavily loaded or warmer-running gear sets.
Used only where the axle or transmission service specification calls for it.
Gearbox support
A clear fill volume and product reference makes changeover, top-up and repeat procurement easier to compare.
Compare viscosity, gear-oil category and OEM requirement before considering another brand.
Share heat, shock load, slow speed or contamination concerns with the enquiry.
State sump capacity and number of gearboxes so pack quantities can be quoted sensibly.
Quote gear oil
We’ll check the requirement and quote the available product against your quantity.
Gear oil FAQs
The same viscosity number does not automatically mean the same performance or compatibility.
No. Automotive SAE viscosity and industrial ISO viscosity are different classification systems, and their additive requirements can differ. Use the category specified for the equipment.
Do not change viscosity only to mask noise. A different grade can affect oil flow, heat and efficiency. Check the gearbox condition and manufacturer recommendation first.
EP refers to extreme-pressure performance intended to protect loaded gear contacts. The required performance category and material compatibility should still be confirmed.
Confirm that the products match in viscosity, performance category and compatibility before mixing. If the existing oil is unknown, share a sample history or label and follow changeover guidance.
